The Funding Group acquires and manages sub-performing and non-performing mortgage loans, which are secured by one to four family residential real estate. The Funding Group acquires these assets from banks, savings and loans, mortgage companies, large insurance companies and other originators. These companies find it easier and more cost effective to sell than foreclose upon or rehabilitate the assets internally. The Funding Group acquires these distressed loans and services them for its own account until such loans have been paid off, returned to a performing status, foreclosed or resolved in some other matter. We offer extensive workout plans in an effort to help customers bring delinquent accounts current, and allow our customers to maintain homeownership.
